Job Description
American Express is offering an Apprentice opportunity for individuals passionate about service, hospitality, and facility support. As part of Team Amex, you will work under mentorship and support day-to-day operations across food services, facilities, recreational spaces, and hospitality for colleagues and visitors at campuses in Gurgaon or Bengaluru. Key Responsibilities
• Support hospitality services by escorting visitors or leadership as needed.
• Assist in setup and coordination for meetings, events, and gatherings.
• Engage with colleagues to gather feedback in cafeteria/ dining areas and ensure service quality.
• Help manage operations of recreational and communal spaces.
• Support daily facility operations, including maintenance of cleanliness, safety, and adherence to standard procedures.
• Follow organizational policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) diligently.
• Assist with safety, first aid, fire/emergency procedures, and ensure safe use of equipment.
• Work across multiple shifts (morning, afternoon, night) as per business requirements.
• Meet assigned tasks and timelines under mentor guidance.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and leadership to support facility and colleague needs.
Requirements
• Fresher, or up to 11 months of prior work experience.
• Basic knowledge of relevant regulations, food services, environmental and safety standards is a plus.
• Good English speaking and writing skills.
• Positive, professional attitude with a hospitality-oriented mindset.
• Ability to multitask and work with multiple stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work in shifts including mornings, afternoons, and nights.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and work under mentorship in a fast-paced environment.
