- Retired District Judge or Retired Secretary (Legislation) OR
- Law graduate with minimum 10 years practice as Advocate in Bombay High Court or subordinate courts OR
- Academician with 10+ years active law teaching experience
- Age: 45 to 70 years
Editor (English / Marathi)
- Retired District Judge / Retired Secretary (Legislation) / Retired Law Professor OR
- Law graduate with 7 years practice as Advocate OR
- Public Prosecutor / Government Advocate with 7+ years experience
- Age: 35 to 45 years
Deputy Editor
- Retired Judicial Officer OR
- Law graduate with 5 years practice as Advocate OR
- Government Advocate with 5+ years experience
- Age: 35 to 45 years
Assistant Editor
Multiple categories eligible:
- Retired Judicial Officer OR
- Fresh Law Graduates with 55% in final year (first attempt only)
- Advocates with minimum 3 years practice
- Ministerial Staff with 3 years experience after LL.B
- Age limits vary:
- Fresh Graduates / Advocates: 21–40 years
- Ministerial Staff: 21–45 years

- Valid certificate in computer proficiency from recognized institutions.

- Allocate work to Editors, Deputy Editors & Assistant Editors
- Review, edit and approve headnotes
- Decide publication sequence
Editors (English / Marathi)
- Prepare headnotes in respective language
- Verify and edit work of Deputy Editors and Assistant Editors
- Submit finalized headnotes to Chief Editor
Deputy Editors
- Assist Editors
- Handle tasks as directed by Editors
Assistant Editors
- Prepare headnotes of judgments
- Submit to Deputy Editors for verification
