Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority – Special Economic Zone (JNPA SEZ) has released an official notification inviting applications for multiple contractual positions. These roles are open to individual consultants, industry professionals, and retired government/port officers, strictly on a contract basis for 2 years (extendable).

Educational Qualifications & Experience
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Experience
At least 20 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years at Deputy Manager level or above in any Major Port Authority / industrial cluster. Experience should include regulatory aspects (electricity licensee), industrial planning authority, and contract management for services in an industrial cluster.
Education Qualification
B.E. / MBA from a recognized university.
Manager – Project
Experience
At least 25 years of relevant experience, preferably with contract compliance and coordination. Ideally at least 15 years with Deputy Manager or equivalent Port experience, with strong background in project management, tender preparation, contract execution, etc.
Education Qualification
B.E. / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
Chief Architect & Planner
Experience
At least 25 years’ experience in town planning, of which a minimum of 15 years should be at a senior position. Relevant experience in DCPR and planning, knowledge of MR&TP Act, SEZ Act and other planning acts is desirable. Exposure to Special Planning Authority entities (Govt / Semi-Govt / recognized private SEZ projects) is preferred. Knowledge of local language is desirable.
Education Qualification
Graduate in Architecture / B.Arch and Post-Graduate in Town Planning / Urban Planning / City Planning from a reputed institute. Membership of the Institute of Town Planners, India (ITPI) is desirable.
Chief Fire Officer
Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a port, State, Municipal or SPA Fire Department as Chief Fire Officer. Familiarity with National Building Code and Maharashtra Fire Prevention & Fire Safety Act is desirable.
Education Qualification
Degree in Fire Engineering from National Fire Service College, Nagpur or equivalent. Membership of the Institute of Fire Engineers (India) is desirable.
HR Manager
Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience as an HR specialist at a reputed company.
Education Qualification
MBA in HR from a recognized university. LLB / legal background is desirable.
Chief Manager – Finance
Experience
Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience (with 2–3 years experience in SEZ / Port sector desirable). Hands-on experience required in GST (returns, audits, SEZ supplies refunds), Income-Tax compliance, statutory & internal audits, costing, MIS and financial reporting, budget preparation and finalization of accounts. Experience coordinating with auditors (CAG, tax auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants), inventory control & reconciliation for SEZ units, and working with ERP systems (SAP / Tally / etc.) is desirable. Good understanding of IND-AS and accounting standards is required.
Education Qualification
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) from ICAI / ICMAI. Additional certifications in taxation, IND-AS, GST or SAP are desirable.

Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format as per the official notification. Applicants should:
- Download the application form (Annexure IV-B) from the JNPA SEZ website.
- Fill the form completely and attach all required self-attested documents (Age, Qualification, Experience, etc.).
- Send the hardcopy of the filled application form along with documents to the address mentioned in the notification.
- You may also email a scanned copy, but hardcopy submission is mandatory.
- The envelope must be superscribed as: “Application for engagement of Individual Consultants / Industry Professionals / Retired officers / Govt./Semi-Govt. officers as Adviser on contract basis”.
Last Date to Apply: 16 December 2025, 5 PM.
