Role Overview
The Manager / Senior Manager – Indirect Taxes will be responsible for overseeing GST strategy, ensuring accurate and timely compliance, managing audits, enhancing tax processes, and leading a high-performing indirect tax team. The position requires industry experience, preferably in Pharma, FMCG, or Auto sectors, and familiarity with SAP systems.
GST Advisory & Strategy
Provide expert guidance on GST implications, business transactions, contract structuring, and pricing decisions. Track changes in GST laws, implement updates, and support management in designing tax-efficient business structures.
Compliance & Governance
Oversee timely filing of all GST returns, ensure adherence to internal controls, and manage audits and assessments. Represent the company before tax authorities and ensure full statutory compliance.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor the indirect tax team. Build a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
Process Improvement & Automation
Develop best practices for GST processes, enhance internal controls, and drive automation to improve compliance efficiency and reduce risks.
