Senior Consultant – SAP IS-Oil | Deloitte (Hyderabad)

Job Description
As a Senior Consultant – SAP IS-Oil at Deloitte, you will be responsible for leading functional delivery, implementing SAP IS-Oil Downstream modules, and supporting digital transformation projects for global clients. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing client expectations, and ensuring high-quality SAP solution delivery. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, and drive successful S/4 HANA implementations.

Key Responsibilities
• Implement and support SAP IS-Oil Downstream modules including Contracts, Quotes, Pricing, Hydrocarbon Product Management, Quantity Conversions, Exchanges, and Logical Inventory Adjustments.
• Manage Transportation & Distribution, Shipments Costing, Transportation Planning, TSW Ticketing, and Nominations.
• Handle Excise Duty, Stock Reconciliation, Stock Valuation, and Logistics Invoice Verification.
• Perform basic ABAP debugging and understand code-level technical logic.
• Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and solution design from a functional perspective.
• Work on S/4 HANA Greenfield and Brownfield implementation projects, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional SAP and technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Provide functional expertise and drive best practices across project phases.
• Act as a key client-facing consultant ensuring strong communication and expectation alignment.
• Participate in delivery excellence, risk mitigation, and quality assurance activities.
• Support change management and enablement activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Actively contribute to team collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
• 7+ years of relevant experience in SAP IS-Oil Downstream and 3+ years experience in SAP MM.
• Minimum 2–3 S/4 HANA implementations (Greenfield or Brownfield) with additional ECC experience.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP IS-Oil processes including Pricing, Contracts, Hydrocarbon Management, and Transportation.
• Experience working on projects involving IT systems, applications, and data components.
• Ability to understand technical aspects such as ABAP debugging.
• Strong skills in documentation, requirement gathering, planning, and project execution.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel to client locations as required.
• Graduate degree in Science or Engineering preferred.
